Kapil Sharma Challenges BMC’s Order In Bombay HC

Comedian Kapil Sharma raised a political comment last month asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘Ye Hain Aapke Acche Din?’ He gave this statement after a government official asked him for a bribe of Rs. 5 lakhs to regularize the construction of his office in Mumbai. Now, he challenges BMC’s order by approaching High Court.

Kapil Sharma’s question against Prime Minister was even after paying substantial amount of tax, a citizen has to go through many hurdles for getting his work done.

Kapil was praised by many people for bringing up this issue of corruption in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) but his tweet hit back on him.

Initially remained mum but later spoke against the comedian, BMC stated that Kapil has carried out illegal construction of the Versova, Andheri bungalow. The latter has destroyed mangroves and also raised illegal additions to his flat in the Oshiwara.

Various other troubles accompanied along with these.

Apart from the case of illegal construction of flat and bungalow, Sharma was also presented a bill for the demolition of the illegal structures he had built in Versova.

Recently, Kapil Sharma has approached the Bombay High Court against these allegations. India Today reported

Though it is not clear that Kapil is dismissing cases against him or halting BMC’s charges of creating additional to his property.
