Shah Rukh Khan is the king of romance in Bollywood today but going back to all those days, he was only a normal guy from Delhi who was trying amongst the crowd to build in identity in Mumbai. Even today, he identifies himself as a newcomer.
SRK Launches His Biography
At the launch of his biography, Shah Rukh said,
“An actor is just like water… he should just adapt the colour and shape. I believe the art is important, the artist is not. The art remains and not the artist and as an actor, I feel if I think like that I can work with some amount of purity. The purity will be retained if I believe that my art is important than myself.”
The actor thanked Samar Khan who wrote “Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye”. He posted his photo along with the book, also tweeting that his little son AbRam loved the launch.

Shahrukh Talks About His Journey
Talking about his journey SRK said that for a boy who came from Delhi, 25 years in film industry was a big dream. His years have been full of hard work, excitement, ups and downs and this book is a tribute to all those filmmakers who showed belief in him and his dreams. Shah Rukh was also very much thankful to his fans who have made him what he is today.

SRK was an odd looking guy in his initial days in film industry. Also, he did not belong to film background and could not even speak his speak properly. Still, he could grab the opportunities only because of his filmmakers and friends. So, is the reason that he loves and respects all newcomers.
Shah Rukh Khan also reveals that sometimes it tough to get choices in roles especially for a star. It might seem awkward but even after spending 25 years in the film industry, he still feels like a newcomer sometimes.
Author’s Words
Titled “25 years of a Life”, the book carries interesting incidents from Shahrukh’s journey till date. All the 30 chapters are Samar Khan’s take created on a particular character portrayed by SRK. Samar Khan said,
“This book was the perfect chance for me to tell the SRK story from a different lens. I would like to thank everyone involved who has made this dream project a reality.”
