The upcoming directorial of Sanjay Leela Bhansali has already created a buzz around the moviegoers. The shoot for the film went on the floors from 1st November,2016. SLB is ensuring the complete security of the actors.
We all are aware of the plot and the actors of the film, but everybody is going crazy to know what type of outfits they will wear for the film. Especially how Deepika will look in the film. Well, just like Bajirao Mastani, the stars will be seen donning the traditional outfits and heavy jewelleries.
Deepika, Shahid and Ranveer to be Seen in the Costumes Designed by….
Two Delhi-based designers Rimple and Harpreet Narula are going to style the costumes for the actors and they had already watched the play to design the costumes in a better way.

Rimple stated to a leading daily –
“I cannot think of anyone else who can look as earthy and regal as Ranveer Singh. His look is intense (refers to his kohl-lined eyes), and the flow of fabric will add to his princely charm. He looks like a dream and is doing full justice to our designs.”
The director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also helping them out with the designs and asked them to keep it simple but decorated. She further stated –
“Balance is key. He knows what he wants. His knowledge of craftsmanship and hold on perfection are well known. But he is not overbearing. He gives you a free hand, which you will see reflect in the creations.”

The duo took idea for the costume designs from their last couture week, where they put up a show ‘Maharaja & Company’.
Harpreet stated –
“Besides, the Persian influence on Ranveer’s wardrobe, we had to research Sinhalese influences. Padmini hailed from Sri Lanka, and there is a chunk in the film where she is dressed in ethnic wear that reflects the neighbouring state’s traditions.”
Wow! It would be amazing to see the stars Ranveer, Deepika and Shahid in royal looks. We had already seen Ranveer and Dippy royal looks in Bajirao and Ramleela, let’s see how Shahid Kapoor looks in this traditional attire.
The film is slated to release on 17, November 2017.
