Narendra Modi made a huge blow to corruption and black money last night after making announcement about bringing a new economic reform with immediate effect. Prime Minister announced that Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes will be discontinued from today. People can exchange or deposit the currency notes at bank or post office but this may have to be done within fixed guidelines and time frame. The move aims at tracking down the black money from India. But it will definitely make several other implications.
Currency Reforms Impact On Bollywood
Will this system bring any impact on Bollywood industry? Hindi film industry is one of the vast, cash rich and growing industries currently. Bollywood provides jobs to various artists and technicians on daily basis. Film making involves huge amount of money. So, the big action might also affect Bollywood.
Trade expert Amul Vikas Mohan sheds light on this matter in his conversation with Bollywood Life. He says Bollywood is one of the whitest industries, so it won’t face issues in the long run.
“I think Bollywood is one of the most white industries ever. All the corporate companies and actors that are involved pay so much tax. So I don’t think such a move will affect or be problematic for Bollywood.”
However, Bollywood may have an immediate effect of this reform. He further explained that the shoots taking place right now will face issues in the initial days. May cash payments have to be done for the people working on per day basis on film sets. These payments might get affected to some extent.

Seems like Vishal Dadlani has not yet forgotten his past clashes with religious leaders.
This is a good step1. To curb SERIOUS black money, though, @narendramodi must bring ALL political parties under RTI! Religious leaders too! https://t.co/aiPkuHryx9
