All About Prabhas
Prabhas born as Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati is mainly known for his work in Telugu cinema. He is the nephew of Telugu actor Krishnam Raju.
Prabhas made his film debut with the Eshwar in 2002. Other cinema contributions of Prabhas include Varsham (2004), Chakram (2005), Chatrapathi (2005), Billa (2009), Mr. Perfect (2011), and Mirchi (2013). He also appeared in Bollywood film Action Jackson directed by Prabhu Deva in 2014.
Prabhas’s 2015 career marked the epic Baahubali: The Beginning. The film was highest grossing Indian film globally and even the highest grossing Indian films in India.
The film was screened in the Open Cinema Strand section of Busan International Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival in Spain, Golden Horse Film Festival in Taipei, Taiwan, L’Etrange International Film Festival in Paris, Hawaii International Film Festival in Honolulu, Indian Film Festival The Hague, Utopiales Film Festival in France, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia and Five Flavours Film Festival in Poland.
Personal Life
Born on October 23, 1979, Prabhas is the child of U. Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari. He has two other siblings elder brother Pramod Uppalapati and sister Pragathi. He is the nephew of veteran Telugu actor Krishnam Raju.
Prabhas is amongst the most eligible bachelors in the industry. Though his uncle Krishnam Raju is looking for a suitable bride for him.
Career
Prabhas started his filmy career with Eshwar in 2002. 2003 achieved him a lead role in Raghavendra. In the next year 2004, Prabhas appeared in Varsham. Adavi Raamudu and Chakram were his next assignments.
In September 2005 Prabhas played the role of a refugee, exploited by goons in the film Chatrapathi directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It ran for 100 days run in 54 centers.
Prabhas gave two other films Pournami and Yogi before his next action drama Munna in 2007. This was followed by the action-comedy Bujjigadu in 2008.
In 2009 he came up with Billa and Ek Niranjan.
2010 and 2011 has two consecutive romantic comedy films of Prabhas Darling and Mr. Perfect.

In 2012, Prabhas starred in an action film Rebel which was directed by Raghava Lawrence. The same year he had his next film Mirchi. He also rendered voice for a short cameo for the film Denikaina Ready.
2015 marked the epic S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning. The film became the third highest grossing Indian film worldwide and the highest in India. It gathered critical and commercial praise all over the world. The sequel releases in 2017.
