URI Attacks has left us divided over the matter. After the MNS part’s call for a complete ban on Pakistani artists many of B -Town celebrities has come out with their opinion, some are in the support of Pak actors while some are against them. After all just banning them is not the solution of this crucial matter.
Bollywood’s famous lyricist Javed Akhtar has come out with his views regarding the same. It’s a kind of a revelation that the nation is responsible for it.
Akhtar said on the silence of the Pakistani actors on the attack.
“The situation is indeed serious and requires drastic measures. Look around you, weeks at one constantly gets to see are terror attacks. Be it in Pathankot, Mumbai or Uri… we always find Pakistan’s name being linked to terror in our nation.

He said Pakistani poet Faiz Ahmed Fai was treated by PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee when he came to India.
He was treated by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee like a head of the state. But this sort of hospitality and privilege has not been given to an Indian artiste in Pakistan, not even to Lata Mangeshkar!
Well, with all the patriotic feelings, right from Bollywood celebrities to politicians, cricketers to journalists have put their views on the rationality and sublimity.
Earlier another veteran actress of the town Hema Malini put her views on the same.
“As an artist I appreciate their work but I don’t want to comment about whether they should live here or leave this country.”
